    when paul was in his twenties…his vocal was incredible on this song. hes in his sixties now. you can’t blame him for not having as good singing abilities anymore.

    Paul’s voice has obviously deteriorated after nearly half a century of him using it. Yet still, he sang a lot better here than Bono imo, then again it is his song. Also I agree with Rogermelly01, none can contend with the great Freddie.

    bono has a stronger voice and is a better singer than paul but his music has been shit since joshua tree. freddie mercury will always own the world of music

    I have to agree. U2’s music really hasn’t evolved much since Actung Baby. Same formula – Same sound. Like the Chili Peppers, they follow a formula from album to album and use the same blue print. At least The Beatles left before the sucked…but really, would they EVER have sucked? NO! “Arrghh!” Bono doesn’t even know the words.
