It’s not only a single thing that is important. My guitar doesn’t sound exactly as Edge’s, but it’s very similar. If I wanted to have a sampled sound I should have the same equipments as his. Of course, there is one thing which can really make my guitar sound very similar to U2′s: The Digital Delay pedal. Besides that, one has to rehearse a lot in order to get closer to it. Playing, listening billion of times and then re-playing and re-listening endlessly.

Nice. I don’t know a lot about guitar sounds and etc. but what do I need to buy to let my guitar sound like that. Just a pedal or a more expensive amplifier like line 6? because my amplifier suck, it does only standard and overdrive.
