Vertigo sounds kind of like this. Some of the same words are used, and the riffs are alike. “There’s a place I go” and “There’s a place called Vertigo” Very very simlar.. ew
THIS IS THE BEST EVER! if only he knew
They sounded awesome even then.
They all laughed at this bizarre prophecy… Yes they did! You can hear them laugh in the background as this Irish hack prophesies! Lo, unto you unbelievers etc. Finally, by 1994, the wheels fell off. “Glitterball”?! That’s 14 years of magic. The Beatles managed just 8 years. There’s much to regret since then. Just enjoy the Golden Olden Days here at Youtube… and relive those hazy crazy days.
Truly – a prophetic statement ;D.
The band of the 80′s or 90′s… who knows.. U2.
If only he knew
humble beginnings
Bono’s jacket was way cool. Great band
The crowd laugh at 0:20. They wouldn’t be laughing at his description of the band a few years later.
HAHAHAHAHA that’s awsome!!
Stories for Boys.
WOW they look so young, incredible !!
They are all so adorable! Half are my age. Freaky. ): I get a kick out of Bono transitioning into what he has described as his “phony British accent.” XD
BEAUTYFULL!
yeah, U2 rules !
i reckon it’s more joy division influenced but with far less gloom
and theres a tv show where i cannnnnnn grow
Awhh I love this video, always have!
It’s funny how Bono tried to sound English, later on he didn’t bother anymore. I love his Dublin accent, even if it’s faded now. (Larry’s is adorable). <3
love this.
I prefer this style to U2

I love hearing how Bono’s voice has changed over the years. He sounded amazing and still does.
