I’ve said it before and had no Goddamn response, just what the hell are we going to do in memory of this great, great man that Dublin or the world will struggle to replace. I have suggested that we meet up in Dublin (in or not far from O’Donoghue’s) on his anniversary and play copious amounts of his music and not a damn soul has expressed any interest. You know, Luke and many of the greats have gone, and all we’ll be left with is the “new” stuff. You ok with that?

Bono is a show horse for sure. Shane, despite his condition, performed very well. His interview prior to the concert, however, was shit!

I’m not a big fan of Bono and I think he is quite overrated! Nevertheless, I like this tribute. Especially Shane MacGowan is in great form here! To me, he sounds even better here than on the studio record.
