very true.
i’ve heard the bootleg Achtung Baby sessions,
and it got me so geared up for the record that was born out of that work.
i can only imagine what the sessions from The Joshua Tree would sound like.
maybe on the 30th anniversary of TJT,
they can release a disc or two of sessions along with the remastered LP and B-sides….
oh well,

1986 must have been an exciting time for u2, they were on the cusp of greatness just before the joshua tree. the amnesty tour was their first experience infront of massive crowds consistantly. 1987 might have been a hard year with all the attention, sometimes the calm before the storm is the most spectacular times of all.

whoh, I had this on a tape….ooh about 17 years ago or so, always wondered where this song came from, I miss that tape, it had every B-side of every single from Boy to Achtung Baby… me sad, but thanks for posting, mystery solved.
