  Plus… for all the critics below who love the songs and the music but hate ‘mouthy’ Bono… just think about it… without the ‘mouthy’ Bono you don’t get the songs he writes, you don’t get U2. He is what he is and what he is creates the songs you love. If he was different, the band would be different – it’s logic

  Bono speaking his ‘shite’ is for me often the best moments in a U2 concert…just listen to the Edge playing that melancholic beautiful snippet in the background that is on No album but worth me turning up here just to hear it again. His musical ad libs alone are better than many band’s best prepared solos

  he’s causing tension in the greatest band in the world, that’s the problem. I think he’s pissing off Edge, adam and Larry by putting the message ahead of the music, and if the band breaks up, then all hell will break loose!

  First point – this is a tremendous song.One of my all time greats.

  Point two – bono/boner is a knob. He talks way too much shite and has that air of self importance. this little guy with the big face will say anything to further his credibility.
