If you listen to early U2 interviews you will notice that Bono never had a strong Dublin accent anyway. He’s a mimic so he picks up accents very quickly.
I’m going to let you all fight and comment on the video. They look very gracious and I love how The Edge in French is The Edge — and not L’Edge (actually it would be Le Bord.
