I need to hear this song every single day, I’m addicted to it <3 Bono, marry me!
Bono sucks donkey dick
This is sensation , passion, this is magic indeed , this is U2 forever…!
@jkellybrew maybe its the one he is paying tribute to Sam Beckett? If so It’s from Love town tour, December 26th 1989 I believe. He starts out with, “His voice to me was like a stream, scarce heard nor word from word could I divide…”. If you search sam beckett u2, it will be the first video.
meu favoritoooo
BRASIL!
I generally dislike U2 and seriously despise Bono… But I can appreciate this video for the great performance. It looks truly epic
@Caillou263543 lol, I usually show them street mssion from the 70s and then this, to show how far they’ve come. This is truly one of my favorite songs!
AND I LOVE THIS FREAKING CONCERT! OMG!!!
i once heard a version of this song where he was talking before the actual like telling a story or something, does anyone know if that is on youtube?
yes yes yes
@76jaymin
I though the song was about a street where the further up the houses were, the more expensive and higher class the people were, so they were sterotyped because of the street. But i guess you can intrerpret the song several ways..
@dgate007 That street is in Heaven. The streets dont have a name there and Bono is hopeful that one day he will find what he is looking for in this world. He knows he wont but at least he is trying to make a difference along the way. Its all about the journey. We should all be justifying our existence not just making pointless remarks as our hobby on Youtube to get people to bite.
@joeisaflyingfish Social rift? when american’s on welfare live bettr and have higher incomes than 65 percent of the world’s population? When even the poorest of American has access to clean water, clean air, police, ambulance, free emergency care, free t.v., etc… and etc… We literally live better than John D. Rockefeller did but are too self-obsessed to realize it. Instead we hear more bullshit like “social rift”. Wake up fool.
How about where Bono shuts his big Irish pig mouth and americans don’t have to listen to this buttwhore infested fag run his mouht. Sombody tell me where that street is, would ya?
my father was there (from germany) and i was only 8 years old and wanted to come with him…but i musn’t
my favourite U2 track of all time. That intro riff is amazing. Best live band iv ever seen.
No other band will ever compare to the sensation that is U2…..
@wrightherewrightnow9 At least you came to your senses
@30760005 Agreed. I think he is a little pushy with all that Africa stuff and wears dumb glasses, but the Joshua Tree Album is great, and a song like this doesn’t come along very often.
what year was this?
Best version of this tune. Bar none!
I’ve just added “See U2 perform in Ireland” to my bucket list.
Why was I a ten year old with crap taste in music when this was filmed??????? I would give my eye teeth to be there!
@philcoool You got the point (Y)
best live performance ever …. oh the memories
@CSSPOWN It is cool music.
