This is the stuff that got me listening to u2, if bono thinks this stuff sux then he needs to stop feeling sorry for himself and remember this is what we want HEY BONO “ACHTUNG BABY”
U2 and Bono screwed up this song on purpose. It’s part of the show. In their minds this song reminds them of their humble beginning and often Bono has said when he listens the old shit he thinks they stink.
They play a few of these older songs for the fans at this point. I have seen them play this live 3 times during the Vertigo tour and it was same scene.

O.k. I love U2 but I can’t believe he forgot the lyrics. Like, not just once. There were quite a few mistakes here. Disappointing. And it’s a great song too. I like the way the crowd kinda carried him through the song, though.
